From the 21st to the 26th of March 2022, the 9th edition of the World Water Forum (https://worldwaterforum.org/en), will take place in Diamniadio, Dakar, Senegal, the largest global event dedicated to water.
As in other editions, Portugal will be present, seeking to present the skills and competences of the Portuguese water sector and to contribute to discussing sustainable responses to the challenges that the world is facing.
Aware that holding this edition in Senegal presents itself as an opportunity to strengthen the Portuguese presence in African countries and to strengthen the cooperation and commercial ties that already exist with many African nations, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action, in close coordination with the Portuguese Embassy in Dakar, and involving the main players in the sector, is preparing the Portuguese participation in this 9th edition.
This participation in the Forum will seek to give visibility to the Portuguese language and will have as its central axis a Portugal Pavilion in the noble area of the Exhibition. In this sense, if you are interested in the topic and in participating in the WWF 2022, contributing to the affirmation of Portugal and the Portuguese water sector at the World Water Forum, you may contact one of the members of the DAKAR Task Force identified below:
