After entering the water supply sector in Spain in 2023 with the acquisition of Fusosa on the island of Mallorca, Indaqua continues its expansion in the country by acquiring Hidrogestión from Cobra IS, a subsidiary of the Vinci Group.
Hidrogestión has around 100 employees and manages 11 water supply and sanitation concessions, serving over 53,000 people in regions such as Toledo, Rioja, León, Jaén, and Granada.
With this acquisition, Indaqua aims to contribute to the major challenges of the water sector in Spain, from financial sustainability to water resource management, by implementing efficient solutions through loss reduction, technological innovation, and improved network management.
