TPF, in consortium with Pacific Consultants, is developing the Feasibility study, Detailed Design Report and Project Management of Flood Control, Beautification and Rejuvenation of Mithi River and Holding Ponds in Mumbai.
This project has two main goals. One will be the rejuvenation of the Mithi River, which includes developing measures for flood control, improving water quality, enhancing biodiversity, developing recreational activities near the river and improving navigation. The other goal will be to develop holding ponds in different areas of Mumbai, that will be used for flood control and to produce reused water for different purposes.
The transformation of the Mithi River into a pleasant place will be a milestone in the urban development of the area and the entire city of Mumbai.
