The Embassy of Portugal in Dakar will organize the “Dakar Water Talk”, on the 21st of September, at 11:00 am (Portugal), in online format.
This webinar aims to establish a link between Portugal and Senegal on the route to the 9th World Water Forum, which will take place in March 2022 in Senegal, bringing together political and private actors.
The event program will feature the following themes:
- A political bridge between the Portuguese water sector and Senegal’s: on the way to the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar
- The World Water Council and the Portuguese Water Partnership: partners capable of finding concrete solutions
This event will feature the participation of the Ambassador of Portugal in Dakar, Vitor Sereno, the Minister of Environment and Climate Action, João Pedro Matos Fernandes, the Minister of Water and Sanitation of Senegal, Serigne Mbaye Thiam, the President of Aquafed and Governor of the World Water Council, Mamadou Dia, the President of the Portuguese Partnership for Water, José Saldanha Matos and the Executive Secretary of the 9th World Water Forum, Abdoulaye Sène.
