AdP Timor-Leste,a company of the AdP Group – Águas de Portugal, has developed two legal diplomas, now approved in the Timorese Council of Ministers, which regulate the water supply in its quality control component, envisage their monitoring plans, and create Bee Timor – Public Company (Águas de Timor), a water sector utiliy.
The AdP Group, Portuguese state-owned company that operates in the water sector, has been present in Timor-Leste since 2000, having participated directly in some of the most relevant water and sanitation infrastructure projects in the country, with emphasis on supporting the implementation of drainage and sanitation systems in Dili, the rehabilitation and construction of water harvesting and water distribution systems on The Island of Ataúro and Baucau and Aileu.
