PWP cooperate with the Portuguese Ministry of Environment and Energy Transition in this conference that will be held in Guimarães, 6 to 9 Nov. 2019.
We also communicate that at the end of this year Portugal will assume the European secretariat of the China-Europe Water Platform, which aims to foster cooperation between the two regions in the field of water, in particular from the political, scientific and business perspectives.
This Ministerial Conference in Portugal, promoted and supported by the Chinese Ministry of Water Resources in collaboration with the Portuguese Ministry of Environment and Energy Transition is an excellent opportunity for European companies contact with the official entities and companies in the Chinese market, which is a complex and restricted market. To this conference we have already confirmed the presence of the Chinese Minister of Water Resources accompanied by a delegation, including several business representatives.

- Sessions with European and Chinese experts from various case studies and lessons learned on the following topics: water market policies and opportunities, climate change adaptation, digital transformation and smart water management, water efficiency and conservation, and innovative tools in water management;
- session to prepare companies for the reality of the Chinese market;
- Session to bring European companies closer to the Chinese companies of the official delegation.
The business component also includes an exhibition area in which all European and Chinese companies may participate with no cost;
- Ministerial Conference, to be held on November 8th.
