From 19-22 October, the PWP will attend the Congress of the IWA on Water and Development, to be held at the Convention Center of the King Hussein Bin Talal – Hilton Dead Sea
In addition to the opportunities offered by the IWA Water own schedule and Development Congress, PWP intends to boost bilateral sessions between the Portuguese delegation and Jordanian governmental entities; operators and potential local partners in the water sector as well as local representatives of multilateral and bilateral financial institutions.
The IWA Water and Development Congress is a global event organized every two years concerning the issues and solutions in the water sector aimed at emerging economies. The event is traditionally attended by representatives of institutions, fund managers and companies with emphasis on the Middle East and North Africa.
Like the last edition in Kenya in 2013, it is expected the participation of over 1,000 delegates. Within the cluster of water, the emphasis will be on water supply and wastewater sanitation, water resources management and hydraulic multi-purpose projects (water supply, power and irrigation).
