Next year’s Global Water Summit will focus on the theme of the Water Value Revolution. The ambition is to determine water’s key role in the future of sustainable economic growth and to revolutionise the role of water in the global economy.
The 2015 event will include an exciting mix of session formats. As well as inspirational plenary talks there’s networking round-tables, break-out sessions and pre-arranged one-to-one meetings – so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect with your peers and make excellent new contacts.
The 2015 theme aims to harness that frustration and turn it into a driving economic force – building value from what appears to be waste.
GWS have already confirmed Dr. Rajendra Kumar Pachauri – Chairperson of the IPCC / Director General of The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi (TERI)as our keynote speaker and Dame Ellen MacArthur – Founder / Ellen MacArthur Foundation, for our opening plenary. The other confirmed to date keynote speakers are:
Antonios M. Vartholomeos, President and CEO / Athens Water and Sewerage Co SA
Malinne Blomberg, Chief Financial Analyst, Water and Sanitation Department / African Development Bank
Stuart Orr, Head of Water Stewardship / WWF
Sudhir Murthy, Innovations Chief / DC Water
